ANTESTOR - Palavra em Latim que significa TESTEMUNHO.
Com algumas variações em seus lançamentos, mas com um som imperdível para os que gostam do gênero.
Infelizmente a banda acabou quando conseguiram achar o som perfeito na minha opinião.

Curiosidade:
A cover art de "Det Tapte Liv" é também a contra-capa de "The Forsaken" e retrata a Igreja de Bergen, famosa após ter sido incendiada pelo Inner Circle na década de 90.
As duas capas se completam.

"Megadeth é um grupo musical norte-americano de Thrash Metal liderado por Dave Mustaine.
O grupo foi formado em 1983, dissolvido em 2002, e voltou a formar-se em 2004. O grupo é um dos pioneiros no estilo e está no grupo das melhores bandas de Thrash Metal de todos os tempos, junto com Metallica, Testament, Destruction, Slayer, Kreator, Sodom, Pantera, Sepultura e outras.

United Abominations, o mais novo álbum de estúdio, saiu em maio e desponta como o retorno da banda às suas raízes, e vem fazendo muito sucesso entre os fãs do mundo inteiro".

Megadeth não tocará com bandas satânicas, diz Mustaine.
Me tornei cristão, sim, e acho melhor não dividir o palco com grupos que sejam
satânicos. É mais ou menos como alguém que toma a decisão de
permanecer sóbrio e se recusa a beber. Mas isso não significa que
não possa vir a tocar com bandas assim no futuro ou que vou deixar de
falar com esses caras, mas nos shows em que o MEGADETH é atração
principal sou eu que escolho com quem vamos tocar. Como em festivais
isto não é possível, então simplesmente não tocamos" disse
Mustaine, finalizando: "Sei que muitos não entenderão minha postura,
mas a coisa funciona assim: não gosto de determinadas bandas e isso
não vai mudar nunca".

"O músico, que declara ter se convertido ao cristianismo há três anos, ameaçou cancelar a participação de sua banda em dois festivais que aconteceriam na Grécia e em Israel, nos quais a banda de black metal Rotting Christ também se apresentaria. Os organizadores acabaram dispensando o conjunto e optando pela presença do Megadeth".

"A Decibel Magazine informou que o líder do Megadeth, Dave Mustaine restringiu a banda grega Rotting Christ de tocar num show em 2005 em Atenas, dizendo mais tarde que não queria tocar com uma banda "completamente" satânica desde que foi "salvo" em 2002. Depois disse no site do Megadeth que "ninguém sabe ao certo qual é o objetivo ou intenção deles (do Rotting Christ), então eu não vou dizer que eles são (satânicos)." No entanto, o Megadeth já tocou com a banda antes, mas ele ameaçou não passar pela Grécia se o Rotting Christ fosse a banda de abertura".

Mehida, banda de Progressive Melodic Metal da Finlandia.
Mais uma banda da terra do metal melodico.
Segundo consta este album era para ser o segundo da banda Wingdom.
Fizeram este que é um pouco diferente do apresentado no Wingdom, mas que tem suas particularidades e músicas muito boas.

Bride, banda cristã de Heavy Metal oriunda de Kentucky, USA.
Formada pelos irmãos Dale e Troy Thompson, é bastante antiga e conhecida no cenário metal, mas também com uma variação de som grande de um trabalho para outro.

Tourniquet

Tourniquet, banda cristã dos EUA de Thrash/Speed metal.
Liderada pelo baterista Ted Kirkpatrick o Tourniquet já "passeou" em vários experimentos de som em sua longa carreira.
Passeio este que não agradou a todos devido as enormes variações de um album para outro e introduções de elementos não característicos do Thrash metal.
Na minha opinião esta é uma grande banda apesar de tudo, podendo agradar a diversos tipos de apreciadores.
